Closing the Achievement Gap

Initiatives
Below are school-based initiatives and services we provide in the form of workshops, professional development training and/or direct support.
SPECIALIZED LEARNING PERSPECTIVE ( S.L.P) : See-Hear-Know-Feel
Perspective is designed to give parents and teachers a unique point of view and experience specifically based on their child or students' learning exceptionality needs. This unique experience is led by experienced learning and behavioral specialists and teachers.
The session is designed to be a hands-on 30-45 minutes, fun, and interactive group experience that promises to leave teachers and parents empowered, motivated and empathetic towards the differentiated learning needs of their respective students.
The session is available both virtually and in person, with group and individual experiences. Each target group can be designed as a homogeneous or heterogeneous grouping which mirrors the parents’ children or any desired combination that are most common in each teachers’ class room.
Our standard for success is to empower and motivate teachers to leave the “room” armed with the perspective to make meaningful modifications and accommodation in their planning and staging of their classrooms, lesson plans, and homework assignments. We also want to empower and motivate parents by providing them with tools to become more engaged both at home and with their child’s teacher to optimize on their child's potential.

RESTORATION SPACE
Is the build out of an asset that can be leveraged to recruit and retain high quality teachers who work in high needs schools with varying demands and workloads. We offer to allocate and transform a space that allows teachers to cope with the stress and demands that comes with such an environment.
We believe that a rejuvenation space can be a useful tool that administrators use to communicate their acknowledgement of, and their support for the social emotional needs that teachers have in working in a high demand environment. We offer to collaborate and communicate with all stakeholders, design the space using multimedia designing tools that ensures consistency and alignment of the vision in mind.
We believe that such an initiative would be received from all stakeholders as an ambitious investment in the well-being for the school's teachers. Furthermore, this adds to the cultivation of a positive working environment and the projection to parents about the schools' creative response to positively improving the school’s climate and learning environment.
RESTORATIVE PRACTICES
Restorative Practices is an emerging social science that studies the impact of relationships on our world and systems. With indigenous roots, restorative practices seek to proactively strengthen social connections within schools, places of business and communities. With the premise that we are all connected and inter-woven, restorative practices seek to create a culture where all members of a community thrive, prosper and feel valued.
